"Inspiring students to love God,
their Catholic faith,
and learning"

2nd Grade instructor Laura Dampf was selected as one of twelve teachers in the nation honored as a 2012-2013 National Catholic Educational Association Distinguished Teacher Award recipient. Mrs. Dampf’s contribution to Catholic education for twenty years is truly impressive, as she has been a source of great inspiration to all at St. Peter. This prestigious award was received on Tuesday evening, April 2, 2013, at the N.C.E.A. Convention in Houston, Texas. Staff members Mrs. Julie Wankum and Mr. Greg Holtmeyer presented papers at the convention, and attended the awards banquet with Mrs. Dampf and Dr. Joseph Gulino, principal. Mrs. Dampf is the second instructor from St. Peter to receive this recognition. First grade instructor Agnes Forck received this special award in 2010.

On the same evening, the St. Peter Interparish School Home and School Association received a prestigious ‘Distinguished Home and School Award,’ one of five Home and School Associations in the nation to receive this award. Jennifer Godwin, treasurer, accepted the award for the Home and School Association.
